Having been internationally recognized as one of the best golfing experience in the world, with a 18-hole, 72-par well-laid golf course designed amongst the tall tropical trees in the lushest rainforests in Langkawi, golf enthusiasts have always adored The Golf Club Datai Bay for its challenging yet relaxing experience whilst being in close proximity to nature.
In our continuous promise to offer a distinctively superior golfing experience to you, we will be introducing the birth of a new golf course of international distinction, designed by one of the most successful golfers in the history of the game, Ernie Els. Having won more than 60 tournaments since turning professional in 1989, Ernie Els’ remarkable and inspiring success on the golf course has been replicated in his portfolio of award-winning golf course designs throughout the world.
Bringing the experience to you right here in The Golf Club Datai Bay, Langkawi, the current course will be closed for the commencement of work effective 1st November 2011 as we pave the way to the new Ernie Els designed course which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2013.
